"Women of Firsts" is a term used in mainstream media to honor and recognize the first time that a woman has achieved a given historical feat, breaking the gender barrier. Simply put, they are women who are changing the world.
The term "Women of Firsts" is appearing on magazine covers and in articles, books, television ads, and all forms of social media. Eight of the forty-eight Living Her Legacy Honorees are "Women of Firsts." All with ties to Northern Colorado, they represent a vast range of fields including: professional sports, theater, arts, education and public service.
